This package contains volumetric representation of the cortical structures from
The Marmoset Brain in Stereotactic Coordinates atlas (Paxinos et al., 2012).

High resolution images of the Nissl sections are available at:
ftp://ftp.space.intersect.org.au/neura/ .

Delineations of 139 cortical areas were converted into a three dimensional image
using the 3D Brain Atlas Reconstructor software (Majka et al., 2012,
http:/3dbar.org) as described in Chaplin et al. (2013).


Files in This Data Supplement:


  - atlas.nii.gz
    Three dimensional RGB image of the left hemisphere of the
    "The Marmoset Brain in Stereotactic Coordinates" atlas.

    
  - atlas_segmentation.nii.gz
    Label image - three-dimensional volume of labels. 


  - atlas_mask.nii.gz
    Binary mask of the atlas.

  - atlas_labels.txt
    A file containing label descriptions for the segmentation

  The most convenient way of viewing the atlas is to use the ITKSnap software
  (http://www.itksnap.org; Yushkevich, et al. (2006)).
